
I took this photograph while I was in Pennsylvania. To be more accurate, I took several photos of this scene in order to properly expose for the different areas: the sunset, the field, and the snow on the trees. Then I combined the four photographs into one. This technique is currently referred to as High Dynamic Range photography. I was first introduced to this idea a year ago when I began studying the Zone System. It's pretty cool.
