Today we replaced the rubber mulch on our Holiday Portrait set with real mulch. The rubber mulch had had a chemical smell that we couldn't get rid of even with air purifiers. The real mulch, however, had a surprise of it's own; salamanders! Tiny little salamanders are living in our mulch. It's a funny conundrum. Before today, I had never successfully caught a salamander. Now I have!

Holiday Portrait Set Surprise!
Today we replaced the rubber mulch on our Holiday Portrait set with real mulch. The rubber mulch had had a chemical smell that we couldn't get rid of even with air purifiers.
